Hi there. I’m Jenny.
I’ve spent the last 30 years creating things, first as a software engineer, then as a graphic designer, and eventually as an iPhone designer and developer looking for a way to surf every day.
Growing up, I was obsessed with my Apple IIe, my Transworld Skateboarding magazines, and black & white photography. I’ve always loved making things, but as time went on and technology evolved, almost everything I made started AND ended on a screen.
By the end of 2025, I was tired of the digital hustle and increasingly disconnected from my work. I realized it had been years since I’d made anything with just my hands. In January 2026, I decided to make a change. I declared 2026 my Analog Year.
I dug out my old film cameras and started taking pictures again. I rented an art studio, figured out how to develop my own film, started making cyanotypes, experimented with alternative processes, and accumulated piles and piles of images.
And I went surfing. A lot.
I’m not really sure where any of it is going. But I think that’s almost the point.
This site is a reflection of the year, the work, and whatever comes next.
Thanks for being here.
